Gamma/Theta Silent Soundbath
For Corporate Wellness
This 30 or 60 min sound healing session offers fatigued employees an opportunity to rest, recharge and reset during or after a workday. Through the provided hi-fi wireless headphones, attendees receive brainwave-entraining sound frequencies engulfed in a tranquil soundbath. The two-part experience begins with the intent of slowing brainwave patterns to a calming, meditative state known as Theta, while the second half’s objective is to bring brainwave frequencies back up to the performance-enhancing state known as Gamma. Research shows that residing in these brain states offer several therapeutic benefits such as reduced stress/anxiety, relaxed nervous system/body tension, improved cognitive functioning/productivity and other advantages that support physical and mental well being. Additionally, results of group sound therapy will emit a positive healing energy that will permeate throughout the workspace and bring about health and happiness among employees.
The Theta portion is a time to slow down, quiet the mind and rest. Singing bowls and synth drones bathe the listener in a dreamy, relaxing soundscape, while electronic monaural beats and white noise unobtrusively decrease brainwave frequencies to the 5-10 Hz Theta range. Live string and wind instruments may also be played, bringing a sense of realism to the journey and grounding the listener.

During the Gamma portion, pulsing synthetic noise will subtly immerge, while rhythmic instruments such as the shaman drum will help wake the listener from their dream state. Binaural beats and isochronic sine waves will then be introduced, gradually increasing in volume and intensity until the 38-60 Hz Gamma wave frequencies are achieved. Additional live instruments may be layered on top of the synthesizers to guide the listener back to the present, awakening the mind and inspiring them to be productive the rest of the day.

Participants may choose to lay down or sit upright in chairs. If lying on the floor, mats can be provided for an additional fee. Headphone rentals are bundled into the total cost and can be ordered in quantities of 10, 20, 50 and 100. If total silence is required, the soundbath can be customized to be strictly electronic, without the use of live acoustic instruments. A medium or large open-space is preferred, but there are plenty of workable options (outside anyone?!) due to the flexibility and convenience of using wireless headphones.

Tommy Dill began practicing sound healing techniques on himself during a challenging chapter in his life. As a professional musician living in LA, he experienced the typical highs and lows of a 20-year run in the creative music industry. After suffering from burn-out both professionally and personally, Tommy discovered an interest in using sound to heal the body, mind and spirit using ancient techniques.
